Stay compliant and visible with safety signage that meets ASC standards and is built to last.

Danger - Do Not Enter Sign

Danger Signs

Used where conditions are likely to be life threatening. The sign is to incorporate the word Danger in white letters on a red oval shape inside a black rectangle.

Radiation Area Warning Sign

Warning/Caution Signs

Warn of conditions that are NOT likely to be life threatening if the message is ignored. The symbol used is a yellow triangle with a black enclosure.

Mandatory Sign - Protective hard hat must be worn in this area

Mandatory Signs

These signs should be a blue disc with the symbol in white. The word MUST is usually contained in the message.

Prohibited Sign - No Entry - Authorised Personnel Only

Prohibited Signs

Indicate actions or activities that are not permitted. The sign has a red annulus and slash symbol on a white background.

Emergency Assembly Point Sign

Safety/Emergency Signs

Indicate the location of, or direction to, emergency related facilities and first aid or safety equipment. The sign should comprise of a white symbol or text on a green rectangle with white enclosure.

Notice Sign - All visitors please report to site office

Notice Signs

Used to convey information of a general nature. Whilst this sign is not ASC compliant it is widely used and recognised.

How big does my sign need to be?

Choosing the right sign size is key to maximising visibility and maintaining compliance. As a general rule signs should be at least:

225mm x 300mm – at a viewing distance up to 12m
300mm x 450mm – at a viewing distance up to 18m
450mm x 600mm – at a viewing distance up to 27m

If the sign is placed in a low-light area, the ASC recommend increasing its size to enhance readability.
